I went into this movie thinking it was just another horror movie. It was anything but that. This movie was a combination of drama and thriller. Caroline (Kate Hudson) works at an elderly clinic and she wants out. She see people dieing too often and this is not the life she wants. She comes across on ad for a personal caregiver and later finds herself employed by Violet (Gena Rowlands) and her husband (John Hurt) who is immobile due to a stroke, or at least thats what Caroline is led to believe. The house holds history, and this history is tied to Violet and her husband. Experience the twists and turns as Caronline tries to uncover hidden secrets.
